Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 9, 2026
Nodely is a mobile puzzle game published by Sugar Software. This policy explains what information the app handles. Nodely has no login and no user accounts — you don’t give us an email, phone number or real name to play.
Information we handle
- Anonymous device profile. On first launch the app generates a random device identifier and a random display name, and you pick an avatar. These are created on your device and are not linked to your real identity. A new install or a new device creates a brand-new, separate profile.
- Gameplay progress. Your progress (current level, completed daily challenges, weekly league score) is stored on your device, which is the source of truth. When online, a copy is sent to our server, associated only with your random device identifier, so we can power leaderboards and weekly leagues.
- Advertising & technical data. If ads are enabled, our advertising partner may process advertising identifiers and limited device and usage data — see “Advertising” below.
We do not collect your name, email, contacts, photos, precise location, or any sensitive personal information.
Advertising
Nodely may show ads through Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, Google may use advertising identifiers and similar technologies. Where required, we present a consent choice before personalized ads are shown — a Google-certified consent form in the EEA/UK, and Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt on iOS. You can review Google’s practices in the Google privacy & terms. You can reset or limit ad personalization in your device settings at any time.
How we use information
To run and sync your game progress, power leaderboards and weekly leagues, serve and measure ads, prevent cheating and abuse, and keep the game working and improving.
Sharing
We do not sell your data. We share limited information only with the service providers that make the app work — Google AdMob (advertising) and our hosting provider — each under their own terms.
Data retention & your choices
- Data stored on your device remains until you delete it or uninstall the app.
- The progress and league records on our server are kept, tied to your random device identifier, while your profile is active.
- Because there’s no account, reinstalling or switching devices simply starts a fresh anonymous profile.
- To request deletion of the server-side data for your device identifier, email us at gabi@sugarssoft.com.
Children’s privacy
Nodely is a general-audience game and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will remove it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time; the “last updated” date above reflects the latest revision.
